Flash mob of 25 Phoebe Buffay lookalikes to celebrate “National Friends Day” and promote the 25th Anniversary of the hit TV show Friends. The team of Phoebes traveled together singing her signature song ‘Smelly Cat’ and stopping at landmarks throughout the city. Stunt was executed in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society to encourage consumers to adopt a cat of their own. Phoebes made appearances on the Today Show, WPIX TV, Inside Edition and received coverage from Refinery 29, Ad Age, Yahoo, & MSN. AWE cast the 25 lookalikes, outfitted them in identical blonde wigs & an actual outfit from the show, had their hair and makeup professionally done, hosted rehearsals for the performances and handled all logistics.
